I can fit a pair of ballet flats per cube. House shoes, crocs, and so on need a cube per shoe. The lid is also attached to the cube and zips closed. I have a size 11 and the shoes fit in neatly. This looks way better and is a lot easier to deal with than a mountain of shoe boxes stacked on top of each other.
