Don't be fooled by the other reviews. This is probably the cheapest feeling piece of furniture I've ever owned and I've owned some real garbage. The shipping box was delivered in good condition but several of the board corners were damaged inside the packaging. Ikea is probably 10x nicer and more sturdy. If you're looking at this cube shelf just buy the cheapest one you can find, it can't be any worse.This cube shelf cost about $50 more than the cheapest ones I found on Amazon. I should have either bought the cheapest one I could find or bought a much nicer one for a little more money. I regret this purchase.I love this unit especially since it’s in black and not that espresso coffee brown others are trying to pass as black. It has a clean look and was very easy to build, just be careful because the wood is easy to chip. Over all decadent , just a little over price.Pretty easy to assemble..i had my husband put it together and i helped(: came with easy to read instructions.. Very Sturdy! There was only one tiny damage to the wood but that was not a big deal to me.. since im putting it against the wall, i just made that part the back side.. Once assembled, came out very nicely!! I added my own decor and voila -- it looks Awesome :DVery easy assembly and well made!I absolutely love my shelf, the only issues was human error, I didn’t look at the manual fully and ended up using a long screw where a short one needed to go. The screw popped out the other side, I just made that the bottom. I couldn’t take it out, continued on but that definitely didn’t ruin the sturdiness or look for me.Sturdy and good qualityThis was easy to put together (took around 30 min). As long as you read the instructions carefully you won’t have any trouble putting it together like other reviewers did. Everything fits as it should. Definitely recommend buyingOrdered for my craft room. It provided the storage I needed. The basket that was recommended fits perfectly. Very sturdy.
