I couldn't figure out a way to organize the craziness, some of which I need to be easily portable. I'm certain this is the perfect system and all the post notes and leaflets, cards, etc, won't keep falling out of files or drive me bonkers. This will be a breeze in keeping organized by topic, project, doctor, etc. I can't speak to the longevity, however, the quality is so sturdy that my confidence is high this will last many years as long as I don't overstuff or abuse it. I ordered the 24 pocket which is a 12 tab system. It's perfect and will become as full as the size of my purse does! Oh... With the way the pockets are designed it keeps my paperwork organized and wrinkle free.When I open and close it, the top of the spiral sometimes slides out of the top row of holes. I wish it were designed a bit better so that wouldn't happen. Otherwise it's a fine product
